29 November 2015 r. In the interiors of the Club Dragon and on Zamkowa Street in Poznan were completed filming of the short, titled “Point”. The film was shot during the first edition of Mastershot Workshop, organized within the first International MASTERSHOT Film Festival.
The workshop were attended by film professionals, enthusiasts, students of film production and film direction who live Poznan. On the film location worked about a hundred members of the film crew, who were assigned to the different production divisions: operators, sound and lighting engineers and stage design. Footage was realized with the participation of stunt teams. The main roles were entrusted to a professional Polish actors: Mirosław Zbrojewicz, Sandra Staniszewska and Miron Jagniewski. Paweł Czarkowski directed the mastershot and wrote the script. Movlab Film Studio from Poznan produced the film. The film “Making of” directed by Jarosław Żarski, showing the production process, was also made during the works on the set.
Working on the set was the culmination of the first edition of Mastershot Workshop, which aimed to bring to all interested people secrets of film production. Now the footage is in post-production. The film’s premiere is planned for January 2016. The “Making of” will be also premiered.
We would like to thank all the participants of the workshop, actors, extras and stunt people involved in the organization of workshops and production of the film, who helped accomplish this seemingly impossible and very demanding project in such a short time for the commitment and work.
The first Mastershot Workshop located in Poznan, within a Mastershot FILM FESTIVAL, is a project co-funded by the City of Poznan.
