The first edition of Mastershot Workshops, which are organized in order to introduce the idea of Mastershot to the film enthusiasts, will take place in two locations in Poznan. Classes were scheduled for three days.
During the first two days Paweł Czarkowski (trainer) will talk about the basics of working on the film. Theoretical classes will be held at University of Art in Poznań in building C on Pl. Wielkopolski 9, Room 204. On the third day, participants will have the opportunity to put into practice what they have learned, they will work on a film set located inside the Club Dragon, using professional equipment and cameras.
The schedule of workshops includes:
Day 1.
• Idea of Mastershot Film Festival
• What exactly is Mastershot?
• Ideas for the Mastershot film, which will be made during the workshop
• Work on the script
Day 2
• How to prepare the screenplay?
• Discussion of the film locations
• Planning pictures
• How to build a team photoshoot?
• Consultation with actors
Participants will be then invited to help in the work on the film, on the final process of creating the MASTERSHOT. That means they will be engaged in the shooting of the film on the location in Dragon Club. This production process will be held on 29th November 2015. During the shooting, participants will prepare also the film “Making of” about the making of Mastershot.
The first Mastershot Workshop located in Poznan, within a Mastershot FILM FESTIVAL, is a project co-funded by the City of Poznan.
The partners of the workshop are: Collegium da Vinci – Postgraduate studies ‘Film Production’, Poznan Film Commission, Klub Dragon, Warsaw Film School, University of Arts in Poznan, Intermedia Department, Movlab and Red Ghost.
